I specialize in evidence-based treatment for adults and older adults with anxiety, OCD, depression, relational stressors, insomnia, and difficulty adjusting to significant life changes associated with role transitions such as grief/loss, retirement, aging, or neurodegenerative disease diagnosis.
I take a collaborative, empowering, direct, and compassionate approach in treatment. You will learn skills to improve your mood, manage stress and anxiety, build healthier relationships, and create a more meaningful life.
Education

Experience
I have extensive training in empirically-supported treatments including mindfulness and acceptance-based cognitive behavioral therapies (ACT and DBT) for the treatment of anxiety, emotion regulation, and stress. In particular, I specialize in treating adults with difficulties related to anxiety, depression/mood disorders, aging/retirement, changes in cognitive functioning, caregiver stress, grief, and difficulties sleeping. I completed two years of postdoctoral training with experienced providers treating OCD and find it very rewarding to help clients struggling with these issues.
I additionally find it immensely rewarding to work with family members and care teams to provide comprehensive care for my older adult clients. I offer in-home visits to clients struggling with anxiety, behavioral changes, mood disorders, or changes in cognition. I aim to meet a need in the Upper Valley to assist the aging population with access to therapy and professional consultation.
I am a member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the American Psychological Association, the International OCD Foundation, the Society of Clinical Geropsychology and the New Hampshire Psychological Association.
