Adult Psychotherapy Services
Best Available Research + Your Values & Preferences + Clinical Expertise
I provide a person-centered, compassionate approach to treatment that combines evidence-based approaches, clinical expertise, and cultural awareness. I strive to create a warm and accepting environment where change is possible. My approach is collaborative and values-driven.
During our initial few sessions I will learn about your concerns and what is important to you. Together we will identify clear obtainable goals and discuss treatment options. Treatment length is determined by your concerns and goals and is discussed from the onset. I highly value professional consultation with your care team and dedicate time to connecting to valuable members of your social support network including your family, physicians, and others.
My hope is that therapy is a positive and rewarding experience for you and I welcome feedback all throughout the intake, assessment, and treatment process.
Common Concerns

Anxiety & OCD Symptoms
Anxiety is often characterized by frequent worry and distressing physical experiences. You may also experience intrusive thoughts or compulsions and avoid certain situations or isolating from things that used to matter to you.
I have expertise in exposure-based treatments for anxiety and OCD including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention.

Sleep Problems
Difficulty sleeping affects us in many ways and can have a significant impact on our functioning at work and home.
I have expertise in treating insomnia with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a short-term (6-8 session) intervention based on the science of sleep.

Relationships
Long-lasting and healthy relationships are important for our well-being, but are not always easy to maintain. You may experience difficulty trusting others, relationship tension, difficulty communicating, or feel as though your needs are not being met.
Individual therapy can help you learn new ways to manage emotions, communicate your needs, and change behavior.

Depression
Depression is more than just sadness. You may experience a lack of interest in things you once enjoyed, low mood, and feelings of hopelessness. Depression can impact many areas of your life. It is the most common mental health concern.

Life Changes & Transitions
Life transitions, including the loss of a close relationship, changes in your role at home or at work or the death of a loved one, can result in feelings of loss, sadness and confusion.
Therapy can help you clarify your values, improve your relationships and build a sense of purpose.
